Fire Hazard Update – Extreme 🔥
With the fire hazard currently at EXTREME, we are asking all visitors to take extra care when enjoying a campfire.
Unattended campfires are not only dangerous—they can also result in fines. A campfire must be completely extinguished before you leave your campsite, even if it’s only for a short time.
Help protect our park by following these fire safety reminders:
🔥 Never leave a campfire unattended.
💧 Keep water nearby and fully extinguish your fire before leaving or going to bed.
🌲 Keep fires small and only in designated fire pits.
🚬 Dispose of smoking materials safely—never toss cigarette butts on the ground.
🌬️ Avoid having a fire during windy conditions.
Our staff regularly patrol campgrounds and will be monitoring for unattended fires. Together, we can help prevent wildfires and keep Cypress Hills safe for everyone to enjoy.
