Saskatchewan Provincial Fire Ban effective May 29, 2026

Provincial Fire Ban for all southern Crown lands, including Provincial Parks and Recreations Sites, is now in effect.
Wood burning fires are prohibited within the CHIPP Sask. West Block, Centre Block, and at the Cypress Lake Recreation Site.
Park visitors can still use gas barbecues, charcoal briquettes, or pressurized stoves along with CSA approved self-contained portable gas heating devices and fire pits.
These measures will remain in place until the fire ban has been rescinded by the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency.
