The Maple Creek Trans-Canada Visitor Reception Centre (VRC) is where tourists, travelers, and locals can come to get information on the Southwest Saskatchewan area, shop our pop-up stores from local businesses in the Town of Maple Creek, or check out our cool bathrooms. We have plenty of maps, travel books, and brochures for everyone. The VRC is open all week long from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. We are located off the Trans-Canada Highway, just 1 km West of highway 21. There are many reasons you should stop at the VRC, but here are five reasons you should stop.

(1) The information is free, we do not charge for maps or brochures. We are always happy to help with any questions you may have.

(2) Have your meal at one of our many picnic tables instead of eating in your vehicle or on the road.

(3) You can go for a walk to stretch your legs and walk your leashed pets around the parking lot, but please be safe and watch out for other vehicles

(4) Our public parking lot is always open for tourists to take a break from driving or even spend the night, however, we ask that you pack up and leave at 9 a.m. as this is when we are open for business.

(5) We have unique, decorative and clean bathrooms. They are free to use and open for everyone.

Stop by the VRC while you're traveling on the Trans-Canada Highway in Saskatchewan. We are excited to meet you and help you with your travels.
