Who loves antiques?

Whether you collect antiques, or not, there's something special about browsing through a room full of items from the past. Cypress Hills-Grasslands Destination Area's partners have built quite the circuit of antique stores and we hope this list inspires you to plan a road trip or an extra stop on your next visit to these communities.

The Ole Blacksmith Shop

Owners, Cal and Heather, have had a life long passion for preserving vintage items. Their store, located in Shaunavon in a 1929 blacksmith's shop, is full of treasures from the past and there is a restoration shop in the back. Be sure to ask them about their classic cars!

The Nic-Nak Shop

You can't drive through Eastend without noticing ( and stopping) at the big blue house with a yard full of antiques and second hand goods. Be sure to go inside the house to see even more treasures!

Rebellion Apparel and Local Artisan Shop

This Metis owned store was amazing to begin with, being stocked full of local art and handmade items. The newest addition is a room full of antiques! This is a must stop on your way through Maple Creek.

Grotto Gardens

Yes, you read that right! Grotto Gardens, in Maple Creek, has added a large room of antiques. This was just announced and I haven't had the chance to check it out yet, but the video they posted looks amazing. Shop, visit animals, and enjoy lunch or a game of mini golf.

Burstall Fuels

This is so much more than a gas store! with homemade treats, handmade treasures, giftware, and beautiful antiques, be sure to stop in the next time you drive past Burstall. You never know what you will find.

Red River Trading Co.

Located in Leader, this store is packed full of antiques. Patty has been collecting for years and has a variety of items for shoppers. Her beautiful window displays will catch your attention, too!

Abbey's Attic

Technically, this is a thrift store, but you never know what you will find.

Ran by volunteers, the funds go towards keeping the the Abbey Business & Community Centre open. The former school is the hub of the community and you can't beat the prices.
